Bas van der Putten is one of those entrepreneurs you know will make an impact. When he came up to me with his idea about leasing the latest iPhone’s against an affordable rate, I was sold. We spent a whole week sparring and brainstorming about the idea and we successfully realized his vision in an state-of-the-art e-commerce website.
The start-up has a leasing business model of physical products (new iPhone’s) for the Dutch market. All processes needed to be automated, from ordering to procurement and invoicing. The company wanted a custom ordering process for its customers. After the customer selects an iPhone, he/she will have to fill in the zip code + house number. The shop will validate these two variables and fill in the address. The customer will get a financial credit check via Experian when all personal information are filled in. After the financial check, all processes are automated so that Bas can fully focus on sales/marketing.
We started working from the backend towards the frond end like all our custom projects. The result is breath taking beautiful for anyone and very focused on conversion. Users will get a few simple questions that will guide them to the right iPhone and lease plan. We have also managed to simplify the checkout process and connect it to a powerful subscription platform called Mollie that handles recurring payments.
